Maybe next year at the Dragon we can have a mini cookout where we cook the food on the engines of the Minis I am sure it would be yummy
From August, days away from the car. One of my special places, days away from paved roads. Moonrise in Kings Canyon National Park, Muir Pass, right on the John Muir Trail. Light in the west is Fresno light pollution about 30 miles away Moonrise over Wanda Lake
And to balance all the serene mountain vistas, I hang out in rather loud places as well. Petit Le Mans, last month Rahal wedged into the carbon machine
A "Soul of the Earth"... [Gunnison country, Colorado] ...permanent toothpick on his hat!!! I watched him roll that cigarette with one hand...
Well, yeah, 16mm f/3.5 fisheye from the 1980s, sharpest fisheye ever made. 180 degrees diagonal FOV. I think I actually cropped the above a little I like to shoot on the extreme ends of perspective. Here a view at 840mm equivalent, no crop. You don't see the dirt diffusers suck off the road too often unless you go in very tight in very good lighting conditions A closer look
I hope that I'm able to keep my teeth in good enough shape that I'll never need a toothpick that wide!
I have to "report" you as being too funny!!! ah!ah!ah!... He has pretty sharp at the end! I am still laughing...
One of my favorite roads in the Country. "Shaffer Trail" [Moab, Utah]. The "White Rim Trail" also forks off from it a bit more before the switchbacks. Rode it [motorcycle/sidecar] many times, always uphill!
We can Thank "Mother Nature" for sure... What a privilege to have the Freedom to enjoy such experiences provided by her. It was quite a Fourteen Year Journey! And another privilege to be with my Dog "Spirit" 24/7! Rest in Peace Buddy...
I was leading a club drive one time and I kept smelling a campfire. It was really nice, but a bit concerning. When we stopped, I got down on the ground and found a stick jammed up against the exhaust with the end glowing like a lit cigar! It would have made a very small little cook-fire for you! Maybe a quail egg?
