Nope, they an off brand that I can get for you if you wanted to save some cash. I would however recommend replacing something as important as ignition coils with OEM parts.

 

If you do want to replace all four of the coilpacks, I can get you a set of 4 Facet brand coilpacks for 127.48 + 10 bucks shipping to you or 4 OEM MINI for 159.34 + 10 bucks shipping to you.

The fact the tri-tec motor was sold in the 07 and 08 r52 (cabrio) is what causes all the confusion.....

 

And this is the reason I do not shop at auto part chain stores because this always happens to me.

Anyways...Will they let you return them? Stock coils are around $60 ea. How many miles do you have on your R56s?

 

+1 for going with oem....
Just had an replacement aftermarket coil on a highlander go bad...1 st time about 15,000...then about 5000 later the replacement for the replacement went bad....think it was $10 more to get the oem...would likely have saved me some grief!!
Knda ironic, sine the oem denso's that are left all have 200,000+ miles, and still work great.

Those are 1st Gen plug wires. You say you have an 08 R56S. Those are not going to work.

The R56 has a coil on each plug and looks like this.

 

:cornut: No they are wrong. Those are for the Pentagon/Tritec R50/52/53 engine. Correct wires for an R56 N14 Prince engine(which you have) have the coil incorporated into the wire and cost Ball Park $600. a set. Not a whole lot of those sold due to expense .

Hey Dan, Are the Facet a high performance coils?

I changed the plugs at 50K because it was recommended by the dealer to replace them. Bought NGKs and the 12 point socket. Took me 10 minutes to replace.
