To anyone in the area, this is an invite to the Smoky Mountain Mini Cooper Club Dog Days Poker Run on August 10th. Please go to our site ( SMOKY MOUNTAIN MINI CLUB ) to print out the registration form. There's a lot of fun back roads in the mix, and you're helping raise funds for the Young Williams Animal Center's Compassion Fund, which helps pay for surgery and care costs for animals that would otherwise be euthanized at kill shelters. Registrations postmarked before August 3 sneak in before the late fee, and it's only 15 dollars. After August 3rd, it goes to $20 for day of registration. Hope to see some folks from the board out there. I'll be in one of our two classics, or perhaps in the French wagon if neither Mini is running....
The run is over, and we raised over $600 for the Young Williams Animal Center Compassion Fund. Quite a varied crowd of cars, not just MINIs, and they all had a blast on the backroads of Knox County.
