If we were going to make it look more OEM, we would have to find a way to make it work with a toggle switch. :ihih:

How about putting the knob on the back so (1) it is less visible, (2) I "think" it might be easier to reach, and (3) it won't rub against the Tach.
I very much like the idea...mine works itself loose every once in a while and falls. I now carry a torx in my armrest just in case.
Will this be something I can retrofit onto my R53 setup? -

You could put it on the back, the arm would need to be behind the bracket as well, that's all.
You will be able to retrofit any kit. We will put the knobs up on our website for free next week. There will be a small shipping charge but that would be all. -

I need to clean the interior...yikes. -
Needs to be round, knurled, and about the size of a valve cap.... would be perfect

This survey concludes one more time why each of our MINI's are totally different
If given the option for 150 different knob designs, one of us (including me) will want that option #151. :yesnod:

Voting is still open if you are interested, but it looks like a winner has been selected. I'll get on that and get back to you with a link where you can get one if you want to add it to your kit.

Will this work with 2 arms installed (like mine.......)?
-
Kellen@Craven New MemberMotoring Alliance Founding Sponsor
Sure will, you might want two of them though.

Why would I need two?
-
Kellen@Craven New MemberMotoring Alliance Founding Sponsor
Aha! I thought you meant you had two arms in a chain, as some people do. Well, that is a different situation and will call for a different solution. Let me work on that today, and get back to you.

We should be able to handle getting some with longer thread to allow you to bolt both your TomTom and ScanGauge.

The knob will be a little bigger, but we'll have it for you next week.
