I did offer help...replace aftermarket coil and plug wires. See my post on the NAM.

But the facts are when you Hp tune a car little things show up that you did not notice before.

Just like adding any polly bushings to you motor, you are going to get MVH and hear things rattle that never made a sound before.

If you have nothing to offer to help the guy out stay on the sidelines.

With regards to any, "tooner", your tuner better have a good solid mechanical background, as tuning a car will not remove mechanical problems, but only intensify problems even more! Not sure if the OP's problems are mechanical related, or we're intensified by a tune? But it's also the tuners responsibility to warn potential customers that mechanical problems should be completely removed before tuning. Hope the OP gets his car sorted, as the whole point is to go out and have fun driving his car

I'm just waiting for Jan to contact me by the 14th so I don't have to escalate this.

All I want is my idle fixed and my timing set back to normal and I would be happy as a clam.

If I was Jan I would tell you to go pound sand for all the drama you started on all the boards and with PayPal. From what you have posted on several sites you will loose your PayPal escalation anyhow. Dont even bother removing your post now they have all been captured and saved.

You want all the these things fixed but from your posting you are doing nothing to fix your car.

My advice to you go to the dealer and have them Flash your car back to Stock and have them fix your Pinging issue.

Pretty sure Jan would never give you a pinging tune back, even when you want it. If he did and other problems occurred, you might be on the boards upset that your motor was hurt by a pinging aftermarket tune. Any tuner worth their beans would not knowingly let you run something like that.

My advice would be to find out and fix what made it ping in the first place and go from there....2cents

GAFB, My pinging was fixed with some octane boost. I emailed Jan that information right after the last file he sent me. From the beginning of mod 1 and mod 2 I kept telling him my idle was running too high and wanted that fixed. He fixed it in mod 3 but mod 3 made my car perform poorly because the timing was pulled back so far, so I went back to mod 2 and asked him to fix the idle in mod2. I don't think that is too much to ask. I have heard nothing from him and that's what makes me the most angry. If I have to deal with a high idle from now on because he wont fix what I paid for then maybe PayPal will make it right.
