It was $30K but with the taxes, and the 100,000 mile warranty (Because 2nd Gen MINI), and the $6,500 rolled over from the Jeep, total was $39K.

I agree, but a $30K sticker is really the going rate for anything short of the Koreans though.

Looks good on the Porker, bracing will fix it, but it appears the basic structure is good.

Have to see it in person.

Btw, I am looking at about 41K for the next CM without the damn taxes and registration fees, thanks for all the numbers, now I know what I have to put into the savings pot.

    :)

YOU can't cut out the sunroof and just fill it in? I don't believe it...no way, not after seeing all you have done to the ratrod.:frown2: THAT should be a piece of cake for you.

Yes, 41K is a JCW equipped ALL4 S, with no sunroof but with auto-paddles, JCW suspension etc.

I hope I can trade off a car or two when it is time.

Sometimes I think that because you're such an artiste with metal that you overlook the easy solutions. You live in Colorado, where the air is thinner and therefore lighter, right? So open up the sunroof all the way and fill your car with that special Colorado air to make your car weigh less. Problem solved! :biggrin5:  :beer

They just switched from Castrol to Shell. The last delivery we got from MINI now has the BMW brand on the bottle instead of MINI. It looks about the same from the small print: synthetic with similar additives.

    Thats good to know!

I only had the OE oil in for the first 1000 miles then dumped it for the T6...
You can actually hear and feel it run quite a bit smoother with the Rotella. Plus a gallon and a quart only costs $31 out here, so its pretty cheap when compared to some of the Mobil-1 and Amsoil stuff!
