Steve never has had a problem with it, heat soak. This kinda goes back to the "metal" CAI intake box discussions, where some said that the metal would heat soak and the other said that the air just flows to quickly to pick up that heat. The actual issue was that they are hard to produce, being cost effective and fitting it in the car. Hopefully Steve has this figured out  Because.....I WANT ONE  The sound this thing makes is incredible!

Do ported throttle bodies make enough of a difference? Why is it that aftermarket throttle bodies never caught on? I seem to recall that they tend to cause CELs (especially in 05+), which suggests that it makes the ECU try to counteract it.

I think the main reason they never got popular was it didn't make a big enough difference. Especially for the price. And with the control we have over the ecu now, we can adjust tip in for better response.

As has been stated over and over again from the initial release.........there were no consistenly proven power improvements with the AGS beyond the sound. The S/C and associated AFTER S/C plumbing are the areas that will yield the higher perfomance gains.

Sure you get better response what is logicaly.

At the same engle of the throttle you get more air. So you need less pedal press for the same amount of air.

And yes it gives better torque in the middle and yes proven on dyno 3HP on top!

3 HP is well within a statistical margin of error.....thus no real benefit.

I am the first one on the world who broke 300 HP barrier on stock M45 and stock piston and rods.

Where are you exactly? Just asking.....:D
