Also an Excellent location to hang out during a zombie apocalypse.

 

First thing I'd do is replace the ladder with one I can hoist up to the deck. Precludes unwanted guests from drinking my hard to get beer supply.
I'd also have painted in very large letters on each side of the platform these eternal words from an old Kingston Trio song, "The Merry Minuet. "...and I don't like anybody very much."

 

PS: It looks like there's room for my MINI for an afternoon patrol around the property.

Hummm, retirement paradise or anti-social living, either works for me, but I would need a helicopter pad to make this work.
