Agree 100%... I’m not allowing full page ads and other super annoying ads... or at least trying not to. If anyone is seeing this type of event.. or anything else like this please let me know. The web ad world is a bit challenging.. so you have to continue to tweak it. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll look into this.
From my phone I just tried to click (finger?) The mini icon to jump back to the top but instead the ad link behind it was activated. It may have been bad aim on my part but I was wondering if this may have been what happened to you.
Hmm.. that is interesting. I could see how that could happen. Just tested it on my iphone. depending on where you are on the scroll down, very plausible for sure. I'll have to look into that one.
I understand that websites should occasionally consider and upgrade their layout/design, but I really don't care for the new Garage look. The text is too cramped, and the pictures are no longer associated with their respective sections. NAM did away with Garages long ago, now reduced to just a photo album, and this is equally disappointing.
@JumpingJackFlash - thanks for the feedback. First one to provide some. The Garage migration turned out to be quite challenging as it was a custom plugin. Somehow I missed during testing the images were not associated with respective groups. For garages going forward the pictures will be attached to the groups/area. Also if people edit their garage they will be re-added to the correct group. I realize this does not solve all garages.. so let me see what can be done here. Regarding the text.. there are options. I can make text bigger and I can break the information out into tabs.. lots of options there. So keep the feedback coming and I will try to adjust. For example I also have on my list more ability to add HP/Torque/Dyno information.
Ok - just went and tested... I was incorrect. The way the old fields were migrated in, Pictures cannot be added to specific areas. For example (Exterior).. It came in as raw text and was put into a specific field. I’ll have to research how / if this can be fixed. On the plus side, there is a main open field in this setup that allows it to be more like a blog. Also you can “refine” your search down to specific cars, once people update their garage or I finish the script to normalize what previously was free forum text boxes.
There used to be a drop down menu when the articles banner was clicked, but that has disappeared. How do I mark all articles read now?
Hmm. that is odd. I'm seeing it on the main page. Were you on the main forum page or somewhere else in articles? I'll look into this more.
I reset Chrome and it works alright now, so it was a browser problem on my side. Thanks for looking into it, Sully.
