My route is too dull for words, let alone pictures.....I-70 west to Denver, then follow the signs to WP.
Gotta admit tho, the superslab is a great way to get someplace quickly - relatively speaking.
BTW, Nebraska is just a boring as Kansas till you get about to the western state line.......oh, and don't blink when you drive thru the Nebraska State Forest or you'll miss it. I think I counted 7 trees!
We are considering taking a "Grand Tour" of Colorado, after the event - if we're not too tired of driving by then.

Believe me, you haven't missed a thing by never driving through that part of Nebraska. I've driven that route more times than I care to remember, and will be doing it again in a couple weeks.
I usually sleep most of the way; and that's when I'm driving! :eek6:
You can get a good cup of coffee in Gothenburg, though; keep that in mind. -

That first stretch, A/F to B is 894 miles + gas, food and nature breaks. That's day 1. Day 2 is B to D. Days 3 - 6 are unmapped drives from D to whereever. Days 7 & 8 are D to A/F via E.
OK, I think I got it working now -

Let's see, Iowa Sweet Corn, Nebraska Corn (flat on flat), then you get to the flats of NE Colorado. :eek6:
Then you get to MITM, Winter Park, MTTS, then all is good again.
See you all here, I have driven 70 East via Kansas, sunflowers and wheat, 76 to 80 East via Nebraska, corn and wheat and no trees until Lincoln.
Oh I am happy I live in Colorado. Thank you all for reminding me.
