Suspension Brakes 1st Gen Power flex bushing reinforcements?

    I'm having a local customs shop install my new power flex front control arm bushings, 80 for the bushes and 125 for the instal was worth not having to deal with it, when I was shopping around I saw these

    MINI Cooper Powerflex Control Arm Bushings Reinforcement Kit PFF5-101MS

    In the description it says "Kit includes 2 super large washers, 2 smaller washer, 2 lock washers and 2 bolts. "

    Does anyone know how they go? Like what is being held by the bolt? And couldn't I just take a drive to Pepboys or home depit and get this stuff for $10 and make them myself?

    You really don't need them.

    You could also source the hardware locally too.

    The OP has the Powerflex Busings already and is about to pay to have them installed. The question is...

    "Is the Powerflex Control Arm Bushing Reinforcement Kit worth adding as well, and if so, can I source that same bit of hardware locally?"

    We've installed them before but not worth it as you won't notice anything different with them.
