I gained 11 WHP, improved braking distance, better cornering, and took 17 seconds off my top time at Road America after putting the reinforcement kit in, all while watching NHL hockey on my iphone and drinking beer during my best lap.

Yep, there is a big ass washer on each side held in place with a long bolt and nut. The Powerflex bushings fit correctly and don't need these.
We tend to wander round the topic at times but the answer is usually someplace in the entertainment.-

yeah i ended up not bothering, id heard plenty of good about the bushings, and it seemed just like an unnecessary step that really wasnt worth it.
Honestly it was just something that piqued my interest, $24.95 for some basic hardware? just wanted to get some input, and thanks everyone-

Ummm Dave....
Reading Comprehension 101 for you.
The OP has the Powerflex Busings already and is about to pay to have them installed. The question is...
"Is the Powerflex Control Arm Bushing Reinforcement Kit worth adding as well, and if so, can I source that same bit of hardware locally?"

Back to the topic at hands....
Anyone have any comments about the Powerflex Control Arm Bushing Reinforcement Kit?
Heck, I didn't even know there was one.-

We've installed them before but not worth it as you won't notice anything different with them.
