:cornut: Here are just a few reasons but they will never be enough for the cowardly socialists who want to give up their freedom to a totalitarian government to provide their every want instead of providing it for themselves. Gun control's biggest advocates are/were Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Mao Zedong, Obama, Feinstein, Bloomberg, Soros.....They are all also socialists(Hitler was a National Socialist)

1. to fire at the range
2. for the collection
3. to hunt game
4. to teach the younger generation about their heritage
5. to teach gun safety and handling
6. to ensure a properly trained militia(which is all adult citizens)
7. to provide meat for the table
8. to ensure that the ladies aren't cowed by male machismo
9. to protect the citizens from the government
10.to instill confidence
12.personal and family protection

What is the truth that a gun saved my life too inconvenient? Does that not fit the anti gun propaganda? Does this real life event not support the idea that taking guns away from law abiding citizens is the way to protect them from those that mean them harm and do not, and will not abide by gun laws?

:cornut: The 2nd Ammendment is the only way that the people have of protecting all of the other rights. We are a Federal Republic not a People's Democratic Socialist Republic. They(Socialist States) have all failed or are currently failing. What part of: 'Socialism Doesn't Work', do the Washington Progressive Socialists not understand. :cornut: Yes. The 'Hammer & Sickle' Socialist Progressives are so stupid as to think that criminals are just misunderstood people needing rehabilitation. They don't know that a sociopath is a sociopath. Born that way or reborn that way via a burned out brain on drugs(mainly amphetamine and/or the various forms of cocaine) or other psychological disturbances. Also, the liberal socialists being cowards unwilling to defend themselves, feel that no one else should be allowed to defend themselves. They believe only in their misguided belief that all men are rightious at heart and that if we all just held hands and sang 'coombyah' that all evil would disappear. Naive Idiots. Evil will always be with us and must be defended against. Freedom of the individual is the only defense against evil and The Constitution and Bill of Rights are the only guaranties of freedom of the individual. The 'Garden of Eden' will never exist again since we got ourselves kicked out the first time, figuratively speaking. The Federal Republic of The United States of America is the closest that we will ever come. It is the Law of the Constitution and not the misguided will of the loud minority Progressive Liberal Socialists that has and will continue to make this country great. Those Progressive Liberal Socialists should look to the now nonexistant USSR to see how Socialism has never and will never work. At the age of 14, I was home alone with a broken leg when intruders began breaking through our back door with me in plain sight. I was able to hobble on my crutches and retrieve a 12gauge semi automatic shotgun and return to the room as they were about to enter. I leveled the shotgun at them and yelled, they turned and ran, I went to the door and fired a couple shots into the woods they ran into.

They saw me sitting there as they were breaking in, they had no good intentions, had I not had a gun available and known how to use it, I most likely would not be typing this right now.
