Just saw him. Not good. He was fighting the nurse trying to take the bp cup off. Being very argumentative. They had to restrain him to the bed again. MRI may be the next step.

Just got back from the hospital. Not good, more belligerent and back in restraints. Tried to bite the nurse and cursing her and us. Told 2 people he was going to kill them. I hope it's just the concussion talking and not him for real. Took Logan with me and he is one of the 2 that was threatened. That could end badly. .....

 

He apparently went over the white line in a curve, over corrected and put the car in a slid for about 100 yards before hitting two pine trees. Haven't seen the car yet.

 

Did not get the MRI done. He wouldn't may still so they did not get it done. They are probably going to do it but may be with him sedated.

 

So talked with the PA and what little MRI they got done showed some white spots in the front of the brain. Said this would explain some of his behavior. Doing MRI on Monday sedated. May move him to Charlotte to a rehab center for brain injury in a few weeks. PA said it could take up to a year for him to get back to normal.
I know it would be good for him but going to make it tough since the wife is going away for a few weeks for her job requirements. Not sure how I will manage a kid here in school and a kid in Charlotte in rehab and a FIL that needs some help also. What a mess!

 

Tomorrow he moves to a rehab center. He is doing better ever day. Here is a picture of the car.

So first round of therapy was pretty promising.

Found it last night that my step dad is in the hospital again. He has been battling cancer for a while now and some other health issues but its worse this time. My mom is worn down from taking care of him. She isn't ready for him to go but doesn't want to see him suffer anymore. They're 8 hours away. .......

 

Yeah. I'm leave y'all alone for a while.
