my clear coat on my powder coating rims was peeling. The installing stepped up to the plate and paid to have the tires taken apart, stripped down to bare metal, re-powder coated and have the tires remounted and balanced. Going in for an alignment today and hitting the road tomorrow morning. Fontana here we come!!!!
Similarly, although we did get the mowing done today...Sis in law calls to say she wants to fly in from Chicago to go the whole RT /MOTD from Colorado with us, then got another call for a fellow Miniac who needs a ride, so we raced to the tire shop this morning to get the best possible tire swap NOW on the 2nd MINI...so We now have an official CONVOY from Denver to MOTD! Whew Hooooooo!!! (Polishing boots tonight, I hear there's rain in the forecast...)
Jeff, what report are you reading? The Weather Channel app shows only a 10% chance of rain Thurs, Fri and Saturday with temps on the low 60's
Getting mine detailed as I speak. Just in time to drive in the rain to my local "Bloody Awful" launch festivities tomorrow evening. Might have to skip that and put in the garage and cover it until I leave next week, but hate to miss the rare occasion that my dealer gives away free stuff. So many decisions...
For those looking for a place to stay we have an open king bed available in our cabin in Fontana. 30th-4th. Couple would be better. Other beds and floor accounted for. PM is interested.
