Anyone know the thickness specs for a Gen 1 Cooper S clutch pressure plate? I recently pulled the Spec Stage II clutch and aluminum flywheel out of my '04 R53 so I can try to sell the car. Wondering if it is even worth trying to sell the clutch and/or flywheel. Bentley manual says min 2mm of surface on the transmission side, but I have no way to measure that. The whole thing is .25 inches thick which The Google tells me is 6.35mm. Given that there it's a sandwich with two sides and a middle, I suspect there isn't enough material left to be usefull to anyone. The clutch was only in the car for about 14 months / 10,000 miles. Thoughts?
