I don't think I've ever had such incredible fondness for a car in my life. My only regret is that I just assumed based on something-or-other-I-don't-recall that I couldn't afford one, and let a decade go by without one in my garage. Better late than never.

Nobody's asked, but I don't think I explained the photo showing damage. A few months after I got him, he was parked on the left side of a one-way, and someone ran into his right rear wheel. Thankfully they were there (vs. hit-and-run), thankfully they had good insurance, and nothing was a hassle.
On the down side, the total bill was $9,000 (paid by their insurance) by the time virtually all the rear suspension was replaced, paint and sheet metal work was done, plus a rental loaner for five weeks while it was in the shop. As good as new now once again...
