Sounds like they had to take a step backward and start last years plan all over again. I'm pulling for them, as I don't see the Factory Team having a real chance.

Just look at their rally accomplishments Jim. They end when the money went away. Calls them like I see them. As much as they love the sport it is all about money for them not the sport. The back markers who scrimp & work day jobs just to get a chance to be out there are where the sport comes from & yes also from the rabid fans.
All hail the back marker's!!! :cornut:-

I'll root for both! I don't usually have a favorite in a contest but I'm definitely a fan of MINIs and I tend to root for the underdog...that's probably why I pulled hard for Campana and Sandell. I'm not happy they replaced Meeke but taking that situation as a given for now I want to see the new guys do well.
You can't deny the underdog moniker fits the factory team. On the other hand, they need to show some progress and improvement or I will be bothered that they're making an embarrassment of the name. I'm sure BMW/MINI feel the same way though so don't expect them to put up with the status quo if things don't improve, one way or another... -
There is a old saying in the horse showing world. It is better to "retire on course" and get no score, then to continue on and get a bad score, which will be on your record forever, for all to see. Just saying.

As long as Prodrive can make money you will see them there. When the buck stops so will Prodrive. Hope the bucks keep coming.
