I really like the bonnet detail....:p
Sooo, with the plain screw on cover... Instant Justa (as seen above).
With the scooped screw on cover ..... Instant S /JCW (no pictures yet).
With the scooped + Big decal screw on cover ..... Instant GP (no pictures yet).

The bonnet has been sealed. No user servisable parts inside, please contact your nearest dealer.

I can remember when Porsche produced a prototype low-maintenance long-life car back in the 70s. It was designed to be serviced at something like 100,000 mile intervals and to have a design life of something like 500,000 miles.

It had a wee flap on the hood/bonnet that gave access to an oil filler (it had a oil level check system, not a dipstick) and windscreen washer bottle filler, but the hood/bonnet was bolted down on the grounds that such occasional use didn't justify the expense of hinges and a catch.

Porsche said they had got the car so that it worked fine and they could build them tomorrow - but they would cost three times as much as the then-current Porsche and did anyone want one?

^ They already build a couple like that. Boxster & Cayman. Heck you can't lift the hood & see the engines.

I thought Porsches don't have engines? A friend of mine has a 911 and I looked under the hood, no engine to be found! Must be some new magnetic propulsion technology or something

Anyways! I do like the headlamps but I hope the blinkers don't move to the headlamp rings. It's already hard to see a blinker on cars with it in the headlamps right by the main beam. But I'm getting more and more excited to see the 3rd gen as it may be my next MINI.

Seeing that most of the new Minis are getting bigger and bubble like they should keep the camo as a new paint theme.

I don't know how hard that MINI is turning since the wheels are straight, or how quick the driver threw it in there, but I kinda feel like it should be flatter.

    Yes, I'm paranoid.

It's like MINI is copying the Lifan 320 that's copying the MINI R53.... And around and around we go....

Oh the horror of it all....
