Have you seen this article in the library? I think it was worth it, the rear is easier to rotate as there is a bit more movement in the bushing. As to being lighter, I can't feel that.
Thanks, I did read that... albeit right after it was written. After reading it again, I think it would be worth it. Thanks for the help!
That is going to be one awesome MINI. The Billy Club Shift Knob for the MINI will solve your shift leverage problem. Billy Club delrin race shift knob for MINI Cooper
15x8 make Brakes look HUGE! But I have a little work to do for a tad more clearance . But nothing to bad.
I agree, very race car, great choice on the 15x8 pf-01s and wilwood brakes, though I am biased  It took me a bit of spacer measuring (to clear the barrel, spokes had plenty of clearance) but definitely worth it :yesnod:
Cool doesn't cancel any signficant amount of the weight saving then and should still be in the fenders unlike mine haha I run 5mm on the rear for the wheel (stock brakes back there) I have to run 20mm on the front to fit the custom wide discs which does add some weight, but worth it as i have a lot more confidence as this set up has yet to fade (thanks Todd!) my 16x7 for rain/street don't need any but don't look quite as f1 either
Fit the tires today. With the R56 rear trailing arms on, I had to remove a small amount of casting material at the lowest point to clear the wheel. I ended up with a 5mm spacer in the rear and 8mm up front. I may bump up to a 10mm up front.
I will get a few more shots in the drive today. Can't go far as I had to give my pcv valve to a friend to get his mini down the road.
