Yup, I got nostalgic and went back and binge watched all the episodes.
I have a completely new admiration for this after even the simple things I've gone through.
Nick just thinks on a whole different level than us normal humans....
I'll bet it will be a metallic grey, like the "Celeecar" was, either that or it goes back to black over white.
It's been over 4 years already, and it's been fun but it seems to me the pace of the build has slowed down considerably......and there's still so much to be done. Instruments, figure out the new turbo arrangement and software (I'm sure they'll get help from one of their sponsors on this) and completely rebuild the front and rear suspension, transmission clutch and engine among others.......that's another 5 years of work at his pace......I'm also very surprised they can stack a radiator, intercooler and A/C condenser in the front and have them all work efficiently.
Me too, but nothing this custom with any car gets done quickly. Remember this is a build they are doing on weekends while they work and run a business during the week.
I am sure if someone was paying all the bills to have them build this “custom one off car’ it would be done sooner.
That 200 hour thing got me a nudge to finally start with the custom air intake build I have been contemplating for months. I am nowhere near as good with a grinder like these guys, but my project is quite simple and should take less than 30 hours, even with a few fails along the way. I need to get the angle grinder out of the storage bin and start building! But first a (coffee) break and some funk on the garage stereo.
