Just recently bought a 2011 Mini Hardtop (non-s). And I am absolutely thrilled with it so far! It is bone stock, chili red, heated seats, and a 6 speed. However for me being a brand new college graduate, it is tremendously practical, economical, and its the perfect starter car to start building and modding from. I am also an avid autocrosser, and am patiently awaiting the spring time so that I can start getting a feel for how this little guy will handle dancing through the cones. New to the forum world, but just couldn't resist seeing what people are doing with their Mini's and what options are out there for mine. Please feel free to shoot me replies with any suggestions on places to start with it! Cheers, Mike
Good choice to enjoy some AutoX. Welcome, lots of good information on this forum for AutoX. Good colors on the MINI, so post up a picture or two. Don
Welcome to M/A! Get and adjustable rear swaybar for your Cooper. The oem one, while ok for normal driving, is not so great for twisty driving and you'll need a beefier bar back there to stabilize things a bit better.

I am a new mini owner too... 2010 Mayfair with only 18,000 miles. It totally fits me and my lifestyle.
