Go for it Jason. In the old days, back in the 80's I drove to & from my races until the big one at IRP. Back in the olden day it was quite normal to drive to & from the race track. I see no reason you couldn't do that too. You can hire me as your event photographer. I'm cheap, & work for donuts. :donut1:

pictures will be here shortly. It takes time to develop the film. Some of the cars were old MGs, three wheel Morgans, Porsche 918 RSK, Jags, Alfas, and a bunch others. I will post when I can.

Sorry about the late notice. I will definitely post it as soon as I hear about next year. I really don't know which cars clubs meet up there each year. Last year there was a bunch or Turners and a few this year. This year the Three Wheel Mogans showed up but I didn't know until I saw them all up there. I was like look at that, then there's another one, and another one, I couldn't belive my eye when I saw them all. Then about 4 were on the track and I was like "they are racing!!!!!"
If anyone needs any info on the exhibition class then get with me. I understand it a little bit. They still want the older cars but there were some cars from the 80s racing. Like I said I may take my mini on the track next year.-

For the record, the white #144 Triumph is owned and driven by a MINI owner. Allen Goode is also a member of Hampton Roads club MINI and has a super clean (and very track experienced) R50. One heck of a machinist, but keeping an old Triumph will help make you one I suppose! He finished second to an old Porsche this day.

Nice sets of pictures, enjoyable to see, like the groupings on track. The Alfa Romeo brings back some memories.
