    I have a friend whose dream is a pyramid of strippers. This was nothing like that, but pretty good non the less. I am happy to be on the second to the top rung.

    Been following Doug's racing exploits for years at his Pulp-Racing site. Great writer, just wish he'd write a bit more.

    Unfortunately his pyramid of speed has an accompanying inverse pyramid of cost. I'm stuck at level 4 financially and level three geographically.

    Yes, I think I can easily believe the inverse version as well. However, the cost version may also more closely align with the 'fun' version.

    I quite enjoy level 4, myself. Though I totally understand why people make fun of it.

    Maybe someday if I find that person with the " good stock portfolio " I'll move up on the pyramid :D
