R50 Midlands 5th gear

My 5th gear is chipped so I have another coming from Mini gearboxes UK but the jolly Royal mail seemed to have lost it.

I leave for Costa Rica on Sunday and was hoping someone has or knows of a busted R50 Midlands box in the New England area? I just need the plain 5th speed gear (not the one with the sychro hub) or maybe a shop that repairs them?

I willing to drive to NH CT etc.

With the rally next month 2 sets of 5th gears have gone missing from the UK. Maybe a secret group is collecting them? So I'm still looking

 

LOL now there's a plan....not really as the 6 speed final drive is not low enough. I've no chance of finding a 6 speed here.

 

good to know if the used ones don't show up

 

What's amazing is no one has a used one laying around seeing as these boxes often break. Mini gearboxes UK can't be the only company building these boxes?
