I was joking! my strange humour ah but my focus is not showroom JCW car but having a JCW car in the eyes of the rally rules in order to mod the car to the limit of the rules. For sure if I was wanting the original thing I would pay the money to do it but I can't justify spending nearly $200 on badges when I can use that money to buy some performance stuff.

 

:cornut: But they are fake. Imposters. No Ambiance. If you want fake, don't buy the JCW head. Mini people by and large want the real thing or nothing. Show a fake certificate to a knowledgeble MINIac and you lose all your trustworthiness and credibility.

I was going to suggest popping the head on Ebay. Last used JCW I saw on Ebay went for $795 . Yours is new so I hope get want you want for it....yes me and Jason made up...aaaaaaahhhhhhh

 

:cornut: If this really is(not doubting you Sir) an R50 JCW head then some R50 type person should jump on this as it's also a COLLECTOR'S ITEM and will increase your performance a little. All that one would then need is the JCW intake(CAI), JCW exhaust, and buy a couple of JCW badges(expensive considering a small badge) to have a complete and RARE R50 MINI JCW all be it lacking the JCW Certificate. Just saying...............I wish that I had an R50..............(no collusion here, I don't personally know jhiggs)

FYI.. badges can be had from China LOL certificate off the internet and the rest of the stuff can be found on Ebay = JCW R50 Mini. hahaha

 

No worries Jason...British humour is hard to follow at times even for me!

 

I'm curious if the head sold already. I bought JCW Tuning kit no 522 for 1500. Had all the certificates & badges too. Very excited I got it as I am a MINI purist. Or try to be. LOL
