The odd thing to me is that the 2006 R50, R52 & R53 are not included. They also are not part of the NHTSA investigation. Hmmm?????

I'd hate to lose the steering on my 2006 & plunge through the front window of the local MINI showroom. :biggrin5:

 

So, what about those individuals that already replaced the part ?

Word to the wise, always keep those repair receipts filed away somewhere. They could come in handy.

I'm wondering if there was possibly a running change made to the p/s pumps & the 2006 & up have a new more durable design. I'm at 102,000 & mine is working fine. I have replaced 3 P/S cooling fans in that time.

 

Was looking under my 2006 and it sure as hell is leaking.

Just about any doctor and a little operation can fix that for you.....

 

I had a power steering issue last year. I will ask them about this next time I am in there.
