Are the window regulators a known "fail" item on an R50 Justa? My drivers side regulator sounds quite "aggressive" when I use it. Don't remember it sounding like it does now.

Not an uncommon fix. When you need one Steve can get it for you.

Is there ANYTHING on these cars that doesn't Fup:mad2: Seriously, as much as I love the looks of my M1N1, and the way it drives, I am considering trading against a Honda/Nissan. Boring as hell, yes. But I don't hear of their owners having to replace crap all the time.

Yes those cars are more reliable, but 100% more boring. Sort of like driving an appliance. I too get fed up with repairs, but my MINI gives me so much joy.

Nobody ever said owning a MINI would be easy and boring.

Owning a MINI is a love / hate relationship.....Love to drive it but hate to repair it sometimes when I can't do the repair myself. $$$

Love to Mod it.....hate when something goes wrong.

I know how you feel because some days I just want to smash it, then I wash it and take it for a drive and all is good again.

Love and more love in my case. Love to fix it and more love to drive it after it's fixed.

So talking of the window regulator. When I did the last rally the PS window stopped working as we rolled up to the first stage. The refused to roll down the whole rally until on the last stage the time keeper really slammed the door and by magic the window worked again. That door is strange because the central locking does not work too!

    just quirky electrics I presume.
