As seen here: http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/sponsor-messages/1728-r52-easy-up-circuit-coming-fes.html w00t!!! Good job, Matt. About time. Fully stoaked! Count me in.
Matt, a quick question. So to open the top I will need to tap the window open button once and the top open button twice? What happens if I only tap top open button twice?
If you just tap the top button twice... the windows pop down a bit, top goes down and the windows go back up. I would be just like if you were to do the manual operation (hold the button down for a bit to do the sunroof?, then release then hold the button down for 23 seconds to put the top down....) The two functions are independant. And to tell the truth, I haven't seen it in action yet. My business partner is in Germany and he worked with some Swiss mini owners to make it all work. He'll be starting the documentation shortly. Matt
Oh, so it is European designed and tested? Come on, you should not let a marketing opportunity like that just slide. Sheesh....
I already told Matt I'd take a batch of these. I've got a list of customers that have wanted it since getting their auto up window switches.
And don't worry... to make any money on stuff like this, we have to order stuff for quantities of a couple hundred. There will be enough for everyone! Matt
Come on. I already gave you the "European Designed and Tested" marketing thing. Do I need to explain the exclusivity idea to you? Just think Mercedes Benz. In Germany it's a favorite of taxi drivers. Over her it's a luxury brand.
My car doesn't speak Swiss. This could be a problem. Oh yeah... and where's my $1.4M check for coming up with this idea? I'll even split it with jnky.
Don't worry... most Swiss cars speak English... And I gave Jinky an extra 1 cent discount. I'll put your penny in the box! Matt
I already sent in my Paypal for this AWESOME add-on .... since I am in So Cal, I love driving topless 95% of the time!! Can't wait to get it & put it on!!
Got the daughter boards and I machined the notch into them so they fit into the header, and they're on the way to Guenter for assy. Then they come back here for shipment! So less than 2 weeks till they all go out. When Guenter has finished product, he'll take better install photos with the release hardware and we'll update the manual as well. Then you'll be in cabrio top heaven! Matt
