Haha, thanks, @Metalman. Our gen1s are getting old. New undocumented ailments are popping up. I hope this is the last of the undiscovered ones.:)

Found some downtime & parts to go leak-solving again....Timing Chain Cover Seals. Was getting a few drops of oil on the floor daily.
Got the parts from ECS. Took around 4 slow hours. Removed ATI damper, idler pulley & belt tensioner for this chore. Pics below...
    The leak I had:

    The seals I got:

Chain, rails & tensioner check...all good...

    Oil pump side:

After the health check, found a dead belt tensioner damper again....this is serial...dayummm. This 1 was just 6k mi old. Debated putting my Alta Turnbuckle back in temporarily but decided not....& live with the noise:(

I'll tackle that some other time. Finally got to exhale & smile after this 1.:)

The tensioner issue is getting really old, I've gone through 3 tensioner assemblies in the past 18 months chasing down this bad design. Thank god my turbo conversion is happening some time in the next 6 months so I no longer have to deal with that.
