You can also take these to Waylen's Used Parts table and try selling them there! What you get for them is yours to keep, as he does not charge table space. All you do is to label what it is, what it fits, add your name and the price you want.
Thanks, I was unaware of that...although I did put a used one just like this one in a friends car a few years back and we never took it to get programed and it worked fine...maybe its a50/50 chance???
That's weird cause they have a built in anti-theft measure that disables the head unit if it is removed. It req's a code to make it operational again and I thought it would only work again in the same car.
