    Can anyone tell me where the thermosatat is? What needs to come off to get to it?

    Just remove the Airbox and you can get it from there. And if your replacing it, make sure you have the latest version. The newest one has a clear colored gasket.
    I have them in stock if you need.

    like Way said, start with the airbox, and you'll figure it out...

    Changed it out friday night...What a b***h:mad: I ended up having to remove airbox, Alta intercooler diverter and intercooler.:frown2: Between dropping bolts down in there and having to take it apart 3 times because seal would not hold, It took 5 hours:mad5: Not to mention the PIA of reassembling the cooler because of air leaks causing the motor to run poorly... I really HATE working on my Cooper.

    It's tight packaging for sure...

    but it gets easier with time.....
