    Damn I am getting old! Thanks Dave. I have spent touch time getting the electrical system working on that old bike.

    Possibly the Fuel Inertia Switch but from your description there is no reason why it would be causing the problem. Sorry but it’s the only thing that came to mind quickly.

    How many miles and have you checked the positive connection and ground under the hood?

    What Dave said. Also check the ground wires, I believe you have one on top on the passenger side and one under the motor. It could be a bad started. It seems like some one here had a generator go bad and he was unable to start his Mini. The slave cylinder would not cause this problem.

    Lee they don’t call them generators anymore they are Alternators.
