I installed the same set up on my 2009 JCW, with help from Werkin Mini. Turned out great. I love it. It provides some noticeable settling at around 90+ mph. It looks great in the BRG.

I really like that. Does it come in different body colors or do you have to paint it or is it just in black?

Yep, it has to be painted. Aaron called me yesterday to say the shipment had arrived and that I could swing by his place and get my package, except that the right flaring was not shipped and should be arriving in a couple of days. My paint shop is waiting for their turn on this project.

So did I understand correctly that I need to remove something on the new bumper to clear the fender blinkers with a Dremel???

MM, I had the factory aero kit and replaced the front bumper with the JCW bumper (also got it from Aaron at Outmotoring). It was a simple install without any cutting or fitting. See my garage photo at IMS/MTTS. If you want to swing by today or if you're coming to breakfast in the morning you can look it over.

Mark, thanks for the invite. I'm having breakfast over at Lindey's out on the patio in German village tomorrow morning. Then off to M.A.G. for the MINI's oil service. This will be my first experience with them. I seem to remember from a previous post you made that they are a bunch of good guy's over there. Anyone I should ask for in particular?

Amber does a good job at the service desk. Ask if Sam is there and make sure that you meet him. Great guy who totally understands MINI'sand the MINI community. Tell him that know me and then duck!

I think you are gonna love that bug catcher.

To me the 2nd gen JCW aero bumper is much better looking than the 1st gen aero bumper. And you can integrate brake ducts much more easily, for the track rats.

Awesome color as well, DS is a great MINI color.

The bumper and tow hook cover were dropped off at the painter's this morning for a coating of glorious Dark Silver (BMW paint code 871/7). They said it should be ready for me to pick up tomorrow. My plans are to do the change over this weekend down at my shop. :D

Picked up the Dark Silver painted bumper and tow hook cover today. Looks like they did a great job. The paint shop was able to get a good color reading off the old bumper tow hook cover.

Looks like I'll be putting a new smile on the front of my MINI this weekend.

Got the bug catcher installed today. Started at 9:00 this morning and finished up at 5:00. Had a fun time removing all those plastic rivets. Broke a few, so I had to make a run to the dealer. All is well.

    That looks fantastic!!!

Is that a more agressive black trip spoiler under the bug catcher? It looks almost like the Challenge spoiler lip
