Sheepishly hangs head low and shakes head.... No....

But funny that you bring it up... I was just at the metal recycler last Saturday and saw a pile of lathe turnings. And it reminded me to get some titanium shavings for the muffler. I did in fact bring the subject up with a buddy who was with me at the time. I keep putting the project off because of other things. And now another MINI project has raised its head.... But I'm not going to discuss it until its completed. Heh heh...

Edit: Stop digging up old threads dude....

Titanium shavings? What, how much do you need?

Maybe 72 cubic inches.... So it would be in ounces of weight at an average price of $6.00/pound. The metal recycler has this stuff coming in on a regular basis, looks just like coarse steel wool....

So you have a source then? I make medical/surgical implants and we have piles of TI chips if needed.

Thanks for the offer..... If I don't like what I can get locally, I'll give you a shout. Without a lift I've kind of been putting this project on the back burner...

    MINI lift....
I saw where Harbor Freight has their aluminum "Racin" lift on sale this month.... Been holdin off until this popped up.... Coupon in July Autoweek has it for $59.99 (reg. $120). Wanted a second one, since installing may Swift springs the jack points are too low for my one shop jack.....
