No teasing from me for the rest of today. I'm sitting in the Endoscopy department. Gonna get scoped. Hahahahaha Gonna get my pipes checked out. Go figure. Update: 11:30am, just got released. My pipes are in great shape.
I could really run with that one, but I'll be nice. That is not a fun thing you are going through. :cornut: Wonder if I could slip in 88 posts while you are out of action. Jim
Yeah.... I've got a splitting headache. They gave me a special cocktail of valium and something else. Put me right into LaLa land. Doc said he doesn't want to see me for another 5 years. Great and wonderful experiences to all you folks that are hitting 50 and over.:cryin:
Give that man a Kewpie Doll!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: :eek6: (expression for the endoscopy dept)
Ha..... So I'm laying there on the gurney.... I see this "snake" that I'm soon to have a personal meeting with. Now this thing can flex, it can take pictures , has a headlight and it even has a pair of snapping jaws. So I'm thinking...... Damn, where can I get one of those. This thing might be just the answer for snaking down to nibble off the carbon buildup on the DI intake valves on the R56.
Hah.... Anyone notice how my thread slid off the road into the weeds? I'll bring it back once I start the build. So far I have a 12' length of 2-1/2" T304 SS tubing in hand. Next week I should have an 8' length of the same thing with 40% open perforations. So far I haven't located the SS flex joint I'm looking for. I can find an 8" and a 6" long unit, but I'm really looking for something a little shorter with all SS construction. If anyone knows where I can locate one, give me a shout. Chuck
Hey Jim you have been quite, quite a funny guy. I'll be quiet now. Chuck your thread needs an alignment. Back on topic... BIG Pipes on a little car.
Here is some info from Cobb Tuning for exhaust design I digested as part of my DIY. CobbTuning.com - Exhaust Design
Chuck, personally I like the look of a single collector similar to what you see on a Boxster S. Oval design with a billet finish and a taper from top to bottom. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Yeah..... I considered an Isosceles Trapezium (the Brit description was for the Mini heritage, and for you Agro), that would mimic the cutout in the bumper, and I may consider it as a later design. The whole setup will be fully interchangeable. Including the rear muffler. However designing Isosceles Trapezium muffler baffles although not impossible would be much more time consuming for me. So for now I sticking with the more MINI appropriate twin exhaust outlets. But thanks for the suggestion Mark
