Awesome MM!! Now that they're on, I guess I might have to live without them. I'll see if I paid for them in the original parts list they should've been installed. Not having a lift at home, can I stick my head under and look for them?

i think that's why the GP is quieter than my R53 - you'd think without the sound fluffing and seats it would be louder, but at highway speeds it isn't. Although, I can't say the gas mileage is better :blush2:

Ok, bracket installed. I should be good up to 215mph now. ;)

Did you guys notice the small mounting holes on the trailing edge of the panels? SOMEONE FIND THE MISSING PARTS!!!!

Figured it out... Challenge Car diffusers.
    Project R56

I am going to figure out something custom as I don't like the JCW rear.

MM, now you need the diffuser. I'll bet G4 could fix you right up. You can't some extra holes on the panels go unfilled. :cornut:

The JCW rear diffuser is way too track oriented for my liking. If I wanted something for street I'd go for the 3D Design unit, much more subtle

My only complaint with it is that it's CF and not matt black to match the rest of the trim

If I bought a diffuser for $1300 (and I ain't about to) it'd better be perfect. A can of touch-up paint would not be in the cards

Ok I am sitting at the German dealer. All of the German Minis come with the panels installed. We Americans get cheated.. By the way, I am sitting next to an original r56 challenge car at the moment. :)

    Ok...... Good.....
    Here's what you do......

    Step #1
Casually walk over to the front of the Challenge MINI.....
    Carefully note the VIN number......

    Step #2
Casually walk over to the parts department.....
Give Hans (parts counter guy), a list of challenge part numbers, and at that time supply him with that VIN number, because he will ask for it (Oh, by the way, I can help you with this list)....
I will also give you a special "Ship To" address here in Columbus (Heh, Heh, Heh).

Your very very good buddy..... Chuck:D

haha, already home. If you have a specific part number that you want tell me. I have never had a problem with ordering anything at the local dealers. I give them the # and they order. :cornut: By the way the euopean Vin numbers are not normally visible from the outside

Chuck what are you after now :ihih: ? You should try one of those Challenge front splitters to go on your new JCW front bumper

BTW the aero panels definitely help quiet the MINI
