Damn.... I just bought a new one from the dealer on my last oil change a couple of weeks ago...
Cracked it at the turbo connection getting it out of the way to get to the great location the MINI engineers decided to put the oil filter.......

Do you have any broken fobs for sale?

I can think of a few other things I hate that are built into the design of the car such as key fob push start ignition, slinky oil dipstick, pcv configuration, timing chain design, chintsy valve guides, hpfp, weak oem piston skirts, seat belt chimes, and a Bosch ecu encrypted in enigma that takes someone like Alan Turing to tune.
I'm also quite curious why there is a turbo "muffler" on the hot side boost tube at the same time there is a turbo "noisemaker" to the cabin on the cold side....
