After reading the owners manual I see a couple of disadvantages with this model of Escort - (1) it can track up to four independent signals but can't display a count of signals beyond that number like the V1; (2) the false alarm rejection software, GPS filter, and self-learning feature are seemingly designed to work with static sources only, which wouldn't help with the onerous and growing problem of moving K Band blind spot detection systems (the new V1 software has supposedly addressed this but I have no first-hand knowledge of how effective it is).
Here's a good resource for us motorists, the NMA - worth joining and checking out: https://www.motorists.org/ I've been a member for many years.
Looks like the V1/Escort 360/max2/max/redline are very comparable from a performance bases. It really comes to down to personal preference regarding the bells and whistles that you desire. Now, what about laser jamming. It seeming that only ALP protects against all laser guns (Dragon Eye). Has anyone install the ALP system? What are your thoughts?
