Hello, my mini cooper has about 115K miles. I seem to be having coolant leaking problems . A week ago I filled it up with coolant because my temperature light turned red and it's been a little less then a week, and it happened agai today while driving home. My fiancé has taken a look at it and he believes it's the radiator that got damaged. At first he thought it was the thermostat, waterpump or a hose, but after checking it further, it seems to indeed be the radiator. Could I please get suggestions, links, as to where to get instructions on replacing the radiator ourselves ? Is there a temporary leak stopper i can use until we get the radiator in ? How easy/tough is it? I need to get it fixed as soon as possible ....thank you everyone!

Do not use a leak stopper!

Get a new radiator and just keep it well topped up till you get it installed.

    And welcome to M/A!

100 times + 1. ^^^^^^. Do this and follow the instructions in the above post.

Never use stop leak unless you are stuck in Death Valley and its an emergency.
