The Bobby Rahal Foundation will host the inaugural “Rally for the Ranch” at Easton Town Center on Wednesday, August 1, 4:00 PM-8:30 PM. The event is being held in conjunction with the Indy Car Series stop at Mid-Ohio Raceway. Visitors to Easton will be amazed to see the streets filled with a wide array of extremely collectable vintage, race and street cars. Live music and Easton’s usually festive atmosphere will make this a great evening. This event is free to the public. Some of the cars that will be there can be seen on Pinterest If someone wants to pony up 5 grand I'll be happy to join you at your table The fundraising component of the Rally for the Ranch auto showcase. A private dinner by the Bobby Rahal Foundation priced at $5,000 for a table of eight. At each table, there also will be two celebrities from the sports and racing communities. The dinner will include a silent auction featuring travel and vacation packages, tickets to local and national sporting events and other items. Each dinner guest will receive two complimentary admission tickets and passes to the VIP hospitality tent at the Honda Indy 200 at MidOhio Sports Car Course on August 5.
I would be more than happy to drive over and gawk at all the beautiful cars, doubt I will make the dinner though...
I will be at work down the street but can swing by at some point probably. Let me know when you are going over.
I have been trying to get things done so I could swing by when leaving the office, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Damn finance people and their desire to report accurate quarterly earnings!
That was fun, not a huge amount of cars but some of them are significant to me for various reasons. Very spread out with street cars being shown at South End over the Barnes and Nobles, the Race Cars at the North End outside Nordstrom's. Very poor signage, I guess if I shopped there more than 2 times a year I'd know my way around. Full dump off camera can be seen here. There will be a thread with processed pics and comments later.
And to think I drove right past there on my way home, just like every other day... I saw the lane restrictions and barriers. I just figured it was concert night or farmers market. Oh well.
Anyone notice the cupholder in the Mclaren is about as useful as in a MINI? And ours cost a hole lot less
Thanks for the pictures! I wish it would have been another week, but cool to live though your pictures!
