Holy Cow!!! I don't think with his physical challenges we'll ever see him in an F1 car again. Very glad he is very competitive in rally. This video is just one of those things. When you run at the front this stuff happens.

In Car Manx This is an old one (1983), but it was quite new when I first saw it. This still gives me goose bumps watching it. Ari Vatanen & Teri Harryman were quite a team. The fact that they are in a RWD Opel Ascona with an honest to God floor shifted manual box & carburators singing their intake song makes this all the better. Even though the video is of low quality by today's standards this video rocks. My all time favorite rally video! Looking back at the Group B cars, were they quicker than the WRC cars of today or the other way around?
It is my thought that they were quicker, but I do not know. If not they sure were more thrilling. That being said the Group A cars that came after became almost as fast. I'd hazard a guess that the WRC cars are as fast or faster. Back in the group B days rallies were more of an endurance event than they are today. That is a sad thing in my mind.
They didn't call them the Killer B's for nothing! Too much booze and standing on the outside of a fast corner, duh!!!:mad2:
