Sorry (not really) if the truth hurt but I did buy those pads from that vendor and that is his Standard shipping method.

Taking all things into consideration, for the average vehicle, backing plates with adherent brake pad material tend to be somewhat more effective reducing straight line velocity than backing plates without adherent brake pad material.

    Dear Zenmaster,

Please spell your first name correctly. How can we heed your sage words if you cannot even spell your name? Are you "Anonymous" or "Anyonomous"?

It's interesting how you can get all the spelling in your text correct, but STILL spell your first name incorrectly. On the otherhand, when reading your latest words of wisdom, it would appear that you, yes...YOU, have fallen prey to your own conceit.

Just to update my situation. At the time I contacted EBC directly and they answered right away saying that they will replace them with a new set. After one month nothing happened and when contacted again I was informed that the shipping was already done but returned because of address errors. I asked if they could send again and in less than one week now I had the new pack of pads on my door for free. So what can I say, check for pads integrity and if something seems just not right with them try to contact EBC because at least in my case they were very friendly and helped imediately. Very very good customer service indeed.

Thanks for the update. It is nice to hear the EBC customer support is good. Did they elaborate on what the cause of the pad failure could be?

Unfortunately the person that was dealing with this was not able to provide any information about this. Those that I received now seemed really fresh new, the ones that I got originally (and broke) from the auto parts store comparing to the ones I received now seemed very "dry", like they were on a shelf for years. So I suppose a bad batch on the old ones.

I'm pretty sure my braking is a little more heavy than most folks on here..haha I have used EBC pads for all my rally cars with no issues. On the Mini I use yellows which have an amazing stopping power. EBC seem to have a very good customer service so if anyone has any issues contact EBC...they'll help you for sure.
