Those are great. I hate the stupid Chevy ads and the "is that a Buick" crap.

I took my drivers test is a POS Ford Granada. :nonod:

I have no idea who the idiot was at Ford the moved the horn from the stearing wheel to the turn signal stalk. To honk the horn you had to push the stalk into the driver column. :mad2:

I had a Ford Cortina that was that way & my 69 MG was too. Odd stuff, signal a turn & honk the horn.

You must be younger than I am Dave. I took my drivers test in the good ship Catalina. Yes a 1959 Pontiac Catalina, left full rudder captain a turn is coming up. :smile5:

My '84 Renault Alliance was like that. On the other hand, it did allow the center of the steering wheel to be removed while driving, which could be amusing.

I only had to drive that Granada one time on drivers test day, because early in the day my dad totaled the car I was supposed to take the test in.

    I passed.

Took mine in my Dad's 1959 FIAT 1100 station wagon. Suicide doors and four on the column.

Neat cars folks. I passed the fist time, but doing the parallel parking was tough. Would have been easier with a couple of tug boats helping.

I took my test in a Pinto. When I went to put on my seat belt the state trooper said "don't bother with that we're only going around the squar" I guess he wanted to be able to get out quick in case it exploded!

I took my test in 1980-something Chevette.
