Interior 2nd Gen Rear Cage Installed

    After adding some Sparco Evo fixed back seats, my next item was getting a rear cage installed. I am becoming a pretty avvid track junkie and decided it was time to up the ante on the safety gear. I had a local race shop (Orbit Racing in Cresson, TX) fab me up a custom cage. From looking at the prices of pre-welded cages with what it would cost to have them properly installed with eye bolts for the harnesses (6 point for both driver and passenger), I can tell you that it is just about as cheap to have a custom cage built. I still need to finish some carpeting in the area where my rear seat delete kit was, but here are some pics. I am very happy with how it turned out (thanks to Nathan's great automatic image resizer, they are a little larger that I would normally post, so you can see some more detail):
