    You can try lubing them....and breaking the internal mechnism free....
    But most likely you will need to replace them....
    A few folks have had IFFY luck at best with rebuilt units...a few post here had folks buy rebuilds...only to have it happen AGAIN pretty fast....

    Before going to all of that trouble, get the bushings as they will be a big benefit regardless of the caliper condition. One thing to check is that the inner pad is indeed still attached to the piston via the clips. These can and do come off of the pads and can cause issues.
