I have some really awesome video to share, but it needs to be edited into smaller clips.

    I have a PC.

Some of the videos were made with my GoPro Hero; others were made with a digital camera.

I would prefer recs for free programs until I find one that is quick & easy for me to use...then I don't mind upgrading.

    Thanks in advance.

My son uses Windows Movie maker with really good results. Very easy to use.

Yep, and it's already loaded on your computer with Vista.

I've used Windows Movie Maker a couple of times and, like you, only needed to cut out some parts to reduce the size. It should be OK for what you want to do.

    Thanks, everyone!

I will start tinkering with it later this evening.
