I never wear a hat, unless I am in my Roadster with top down. Reason? To shade my eyes from the sun so I can see! So the hat style is irrelevant.Whatever shades your eyes matters. I wear a brim with a head band.

Old man flat hat. The gentle breeze from a passing 40 ton Mack is just too playful with the bill of a ball cap for my liking.

Usually the ballcap, depending how fast your driving you might have to turn it around :)

I find that the bill on a ball cap helps keeps the sun out of my eyes, with out having to use the visor, which is worthless at best. With that said, I like hats. I have meany of them and wear one all the time.

well if putting down the windows count, visor, driving cap, or nothing. depends on the time of year and outdoor temperature dictates what hat I grab off the hat rack by the front door...

Sun block on my bald head, or a baseball cap that fits tight enough it doesn't go flying off.

With "Marguaritaville Radio" blasting on the sat, a Jimmy Buffet Tropical print visor is the only way to go in S.W. Fla. with the top down.

I've owned a few convertibles. I recommend you wear a hat that you don't mind losing.

If I wear a hat with the top down I bought these clips at a boating store that clips your hat to your collar. I used to use them when sailing where you have to have something or you would lose hats all the time. In my current convertible (an 08) I don't think there is enough wind to take my hat away. It was much worse when I had the classic cabrio.
