How do I remove the center caps from my wheels. Stock MINI wheels. I can't find a place to pry them out of the wheel. Anyone have any tricks? As always, TIA for any tips, advice, or knowledge. Teddy

Take a hammer and use the handle end and push them out from the back side. They just pop right out.

Thanks Dave. I guess that means I have to take off my wheels :( No time for that today before I leave for MINI meet east tomorrow. I'm struggling just to get the car cleaned. I SURE wish you were closer Dave :) :)

Take a piece of clear packing tape about 6-8 inches long. Center it on the "center cap" and press it down so it has a grip on the whole face of the cap. Hold the two ends and snatch the tape toward you. Should pop right out. I've done this on 2nd and 3rd Gen cars and it worked every time. You should be able to do all four wheels with the one piece of tape.
