Hi, I'm new to the forum and to the Mini. I just purchased a used 2013 r57. I'm taking the back seats out so my wife and I can use the car as our "golf mobile". First I'd like to inform anyone out there that YES, you can get two sets of golf clubs in without the back seats. Then I'd like to ask anyone out there who knows how to remove all of the trim for the roll bar. I got the two center pieces out, but I'm stymied as to how to pry the 4 outside pieces off without damaging them. My goal is to just remove the seat belt extractors. I realize that I could just cut them off or leave them in place, but I would really like to remove them without damaging them, and the bolt to do that seems to be under the trim. Thanks

Welcome to M/A! As a Generation 1 owner of 3 MINIs, I cannot be of the slightest help to you, but I am positive that others on here [when they come "on"] will be able to offer suggestions to help solve your problems.

    Good luck!

    Welcome to MA!
Try here. Its for looking up parts but it may show you how the trim comes apart.

I already have what is on that site, but it doesn't explain how to remove it. I bought a few different small plastic pry bars from Advance Auto today. Maybe I can pry them apart. Thanks for taking the time to help.

I wasn't much help. I will look in the Bentley manual today and see if it has anything. I could see is I could get them apart on my wife's R57 but that would be bad for my health :D
